Hi, I’m Sarah-fiona and I live in South Lanarkshire. In my spare time I am passionate about photography and gardening, both of which I first tasted in childhood before life enticed me down other avenues. Since moving into my own place a few years ago I have created one of my dreams to have my own cottage style garden – which is a work in progress.
Wanting to capture the summer beauty I’d worked so intensely to create I took up my old hobby of photography and to my delight I realised the days of film processing were gone and I could now begin anew and experiment to my heart’s content with digital.
I am on an exciting and often frustrating learning curve as I endeavour to teach myself the technical aspects of the craft, but whenever I get a good result it suddenly becomes hugely worthwhile.
I adore all aspects of nature and this is what I aspire to capture in my work – whether it be a hoverfly seeking nectar on a warm summer’s day; a wildflower garden; a meteor shower; a stunning sunset or the majesty and awe of watching a kingfisher cruise by in late Spring.
I am inspired by the beauty in visionary art and one day dream of being technically sound enough to capture and create those visions through photography and photo artistry.
In time I plan to showcase my best works here at Red Bubble and on my own website. My ultimate ambition is to be amongst the award-winning photographers.
