It’s a tee. It’s a dress. It’s the new Graphic T-shirt Dress.
This is another of my favourites. I can’t remember the exact date I painted it… it was roughly January or February of 2006. I used acrylic on cardboard (but HOW I used it is a secret!), approximately 63cm x 51cm.

The colour appears free form yet together it has a lovely sense of cohesion. Well done.
beautifully vivid and captivating piece!! :)
I can see why it’s one of your faves…very beautiful color choices (really draws in the eyes), and I like the dinstinct textures, well done!
this is great work!
Sarah, I checked out your site and i really like your work. this is piece is very beautiful.
a real stand out……!
thank you very much!
It looks like pastels or oil pastels. Very cool! Come on, share your secret….. : )
All right. I put paper towels over the cardboard and added acrylic on top and lots of water so the colour would seep through unevenly onto the cardboard… then i remove the paper towel and replace it with more – then adding another colour and repeating the method…. i just kept doing it until i was satisfied with the result.
You’re amazing Sarah and thanks for sharing. You really didn’t have to though. You have a giving heart : )
well, thank you very much!
