This piece of work lies at the base of Park Street in Bristol, there’s almost always a host of tourists taking pictures of it. A while back there was a discussion where Bristol City Council wanted it removed on grounds of ‘taste’ but 93% of Bristolians wanted to keep it. In 2010 someone vandalised it with blue paint, along with the Mild Mild West piece in Stokes Croft. People who vandalise something on the grounds that what their targeting is ‘vandalism’ confuse me!
