I’m 20 years old and am majoring in biology and minoring in art. I like to paint and draw. I especially like oils, acrylics, oil pastels, and charcoal. My stuff is sort of all over the place and some of it is from high school or younger. I have discovered that I especially like to draw faces and paint sunsets/ sunrises, but I will paint or draw anything that inspires me.
I have never really done anything with photography, but I have recently taken a photography class and really liked it. It wasn’t digital though, it was the old school develop your film in the dark room photography. I discovered that it was a super long process, but that only made it more rewarding in the end.
I’m not sure what I want to do with my art. I felt bad because its been sitting under my bed for years. I felt that it was wrong and that art is meant to be seen, not sit in under beds. So this is me doing something about it. I guess I just hope to one day inspire with my art, but I don’t really think its that good, at least not yet.
