I live and paint in ‘the place of heaven’ – the Kwazulu coast, South Africa. (the word Zulu means ‘heaven’).

I have had a passion for art since childhood, and grew up with an artist at home.
I believe all artists are on a journey of discovery of self, soul and art.

My all-time favourite artist is Raphael Sanzio, the Italian Renaissance master. No artist before him or since have so successfully captured the human soul with such grace, beauty and dignity, and this is what I try to emulate in my own art.
