LOL. I wonder if you could do it with your appendix, wisdom teeth and other bits and pieces we lose along the paths of our lives!!!! A great talking piece. Not sure my kid would approve if I tried something like that. :o)
Cheers Anne… I think your kids would love the idea of immortalising their fave fluffy toys! Or better still, condem the care bears & dora to pickled purgatory!
Cheers Lior. I make all the Pickled Pets from scratch but only use old unwanted ones from 2nd hand shops etc, or if i see one i really like at a friends house, i might even steal it! I’ll make you one if you really want it! but you’ll have to follow my instructions on how to apply the pickling vinegar & pay for postage! A pleasure to give birth to another one of my babies…
You are very kind santa! These Pickled Pets look great, but I’m afraid they are not so tasty… well, maybe Pickled Dora is… I’ll stick to pickled pickles on my table for now… Anyway, fantastic idea! This is exactly the creativity I am looking for on this site!
Life has been very interesting….imagine losing your job, followed by being evicted, followed by selling EVERYTHING you own driving across the USA 2500 miles to stay with relatives that were so constitutionally insane and beyond drunken and disturbing that you had to escape and drive all the way back to live in the couch of a drunk 25yo..and try to start life all over… total 500 miles..LOL! 10 days of solitary confinement in my auto 5 days of hell in a basement… I still have my sense of humor… and I’m living in the lesser of the 2 evils.
I do & yes i’ve done the mass shelving of pickled pets as exhibitions, props for my ‘fluffy snuff’ movies, tables, individual ones, you can even donate your own victim, oops, i mean pet to pickle. Get back to me if your serious …
The uses for pickled pets is endless, I really would love to purchase a few. I also have a few photo ideas… involving shelves of the little buggers and a sexy scientist lady. Where in the world are you situated? (post n packaging concerns)
