THE PROCESS OF DRAWING.

1. SEEING :
Our vision is the primary sensory channel through which we make contact with. our ability to see provides us with the raw material for our perceptions and ultimately for what we draw.
2. VISUALIZING :
Drawing is more than a manual skill, it is a visual thought process which depends on our ability not only to see but to visualize. The visual data received by the eye is then processed, manipulated, and filtered by the mind in its search for structure and meaning. Then the mind’s eye creates the images we see. This images we attempt to draw.
3. EXPRESSING :
Usually, in drawing, we make marks on a surface in an attempt to graphically represent our perception and understanding of the outer reality we see and the inner imagery of the mind’s eye. It creates a separate world of images which we speak to the eye. A drawn images becomes part of our visual world. The clarity of its messages and the significance of its meaning depends on our ability to look into the image, read its strokes, and discern the pattern and relationships.
