Formation Flying
The Red Arrows during their display at Airbourne, Eastbournes airshow August 2009.
All their lights are on apart from one plane. Don’t know the significance of this might just have blown!
Always a great show to watch. I like the angle of this one and the heat haze distorting the shots clarity.

Not your standard red arrows shot but I really like the plane’s profile at this point of the turn.

ah ! it’s the heat haze. i took one look and thought “soft focus?” real good stark image. the planes form nice a jagged line across the picture.

Not the easiest of things to catch…a red arrow!
I like this shot as it gets away from the usual coloured smoke versions.

I see you have a lot of military shots on your RB account. Checkout my book ‘The Secret Sussex Resistance’. A search on the internet will highlight various parts of it, just google Stewart Angell and you should find something!
