Eastbourne Pier in January

Eastbourne Pier in January

Taken with my G1 in January 2009.
The lights look like they are on but it’s just the sun light shining through their glass!
Some of the wooden sections of Eastbourne Pier look a bit worse for wear and in need of some TLC.

Eastbourne Pier in January belongs to the following groups:

Essentially Eastbourne, Faded Seaside Glamour, Going Coastal (2 art per day), Landscape Photography and Skyscapes Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Stunning. Have so many happy childhood memories of Eastbourne pier. We used to go every year and listen to Chris Mannion play the organ there and did ballroom dancing with my Granddad. :-)) Thanks for posting and congrats on the Feature x

god you’re good! perhaps i should take you down a few pegs? marks lost on this capture for lack of bird flying into the sunset. love it really.

  • SAngell replied

    Thanks Mr.E
The birds were around but not anywhere near the pier. I like the birdless look to this one!

    Thanks Claire.
    It’s actually a sunrise!
I was about the only person around on the seafront to witness this and thankfully the shot captured it perfectly.
