I am a Folk/Naive artist using acrylics, graphite and water colours as my main mediums.
My work tends to be very brightly coloured and, I suppose, childlike? !!!!
I have many styles in which I paint and have yet to settle for one particular style but, I dont see a problem with having several styles in the way I work. Some people prefer my bright acrylic style of work, other people prefer the watercolours.
The water colour work came by accident! I had no idea I could paint flowers like this. I was looking to do something quick, as my acrylics are quite large and time consuming,so tried my hand at botanical stuff. The flower art has become very very popular gladly!

I made my 1st painting in December 2007. My husband gave me an art set for christmas! And..Oh boy! I just cannot let my brush get dry ! I adore painting and creating.
I won 2 art competitions when I was about 10 years of age but have never painted since then…so, I was pleasantly suprised to pick up where I left off! Yup, I still paint like a 10 year old, lol
I had to retire from regular work back in April 2007 due to multiple spinal problems. Got a bit depressed during that year until the christmas present arrived! So happy now and I feel fullfilled. Hope you enjoy my work. Not much of it yet but, I am making about 3 new paintings a month.
I am now a member of the Association of British Naive Artists (ABNA)
