Inspired by the amazing children’s storybook, “Where the Wild Things Are” and my contribution to Terrible Yellow Eyes, a collection of works from illustrators around the world inspired by the beloved classic, as a tribute to Sendak’s life and legacy.
Sandra Vargas is an independent graphic designer and illustrator inspired by classic fairy tales and whimsical creatures that live in her imagination.
Her work is filled with contrasts: Sometimes it’s colorful and sweet, sometimes it’s dark and gloomy, but always surrounded by a magical atmosphere.
