About Sandrine Pelissier

I grew up in France but have been living in Canada for the last 12 years, I am currently located in North Vancouver and work from a studio on Pemberton Avenue.

I have two passions:
- Painting the effects of light with watercolor on paper through portraits and cityscapes
( http://www.watercolorpainting.ca/ and http://www.yupopaperpainting.com/ )
- Building complex textures and edges with acrylics and mixed media on canvas (http://www.mixed-media-paintings.com)

fresh and lovely!I like it a lot Sandrine!!the frame around the trees is a beautiful idea so are the lines on bottom part!

  • Thanks Agnes :-), the lines are made with thread !
I like adding thread to my mixed media because it makes such a crisp line.

I agree with what Agnes said also I like the drips and complementary palette. What I love most is seeing where the artist has been on a canvas if you know what I mean. Lovely!!

  • Thanks Christine, that is a very mice compliment :-)
