Artist's Description

This is a watercolor portrait of my daughter I did using my usual layering technique (demos here). I used a bit of gouache on the background. These days I am interested in adding patterns in my paintings, I also tried to be a little more loose with my handling of the watercolor, living some watercolor bloom on purpose on the tuque.
I used a hot press watercolor paper by Fabriano Artistico, 140 lb.
