Only 2 day left to participate in our collective Art project!

Our collective art project is getting filled with many words of wisdom! This project is a collaboration between Sophie Babeanu (Expressive Arts Facilitator) and myself. It started as a Culture Days activity and we decided to extend the deadline to allow for online participation.

We are very excited about the idea of giving many people from all other the world, including the Red Bubble community the chance to participate from a distance to our project.

I am very excited to have my art selected, from over 75000 works of art, to exhibit in SoJie 24. SoJie 24 takes its name from the first letters of Solo’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 24th one, ever, and 70 other artists, besides myself, are represented.

Winners of the invitational will be announced on September 26th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.

360 virtual Panorama of the "Exquisite Landscape Exhibition"

Last month I took part in a group exhibition at the Cityscape Art Gallery in North Vancouver ( British Columbia, Canada), the concept was to wrap the whole gallery space with paintings representing the BC landscape connected together that lines that would be part of the composition.

I recreated the exhibition with a 360 interactive panorama that you can see HERE:

I will be part of this group show, if you leave close to North Vancouver please join us, it is going to be an exciting opening with a drawing game of “exquisite cadavers”.

February 8 to March 9, 2013
Opening Reception: Thursday, February 7, 7-9pm

Five accomplished artists embarked on an ambitious art experiment. The project is a collaborative panoramic painting that will span the entire gallery, highlighting beautiful West Coast scenery from ocean to foreshore, to forest, to marsh and meadow, to mountain, to lake, and back to ocean. The artists started from one continuous line concept drawing and photographs. Working independently and playing with the element of surprise, each artist created unique compositions on canvas or board that will, in the end, work cohesively into a grand panora

Come say Hi! North Shore Art Crawl 2012

My studio on 195 Pemberton Avenue(North Vancouver, BC, Canada) will be open for the North Shore Art Crawl.
The North Shore Art Crawl is a free Art festival, taking place on April 21 and 22 on the North Shore of Vancouver.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local artists to display their work and to educate the public about their artistic talents. It is a very exciting and novel way to get their names out in the community.

For the galleries the Art Crawl is a venue for publicity and a means to attract many different people to your location who are wishing to view and purchase art. For the people living on the North Shore this is a great opportunity to meet many diversely talented artists and view their creations at your doorstep.
