Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year in Munich
The original “Oktoberfest” occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810: For the commemoration of their marriage, Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen
Oktoberfest beer mugs are made from heavy glass and is available with a pewter lid.

    Originally held in Munich, but now the world over
    It still is fun and laughter true, and still held in October

    Great shot my dear. I looked all over my home for a decorative beer stien that I was sure I still had, but could not locate it – thus I had to settle for photographing a regular glass mug. These are both very charming and well presented here in this shot. Good luck in the challenge. Cheers, S.

    I have a collection of steins and this inspires me to get them down and photograph them. I love the golden tones that give this a vintage feel. Beautifully done, dear Sandra and an instant fave for this girl of half German descent.
