Lois you are the founder of our Dancing with the Red Shoes Club so this is for you my friend. The club had it’s origins on Webshots and since the original girls all walked over to Redbubble we have gained some wonderful and awesome friends for this great club. All the girls reading this you are welcome to join this happy and jolly club, the RED shoes are used when we get a feature, top 10 or win a challenge. We are continuously passing them around amongst us; they are magic shoes because they fly all over the world in a matter of seconds. We have been doing so much dancing lately I had to go and buy us a new pair.
For the men folk please give me a while I am looking for those Red SOCKS and when I have found them I will post them. Maybe Von will have a pair that he can photograph for us with his NIKON (I think that is what it is called, apparently it is some sort of camera)

Wonderful picture – you are so great with still life.
I no longer join new groups or any group for that matter, as sadly there are only a very few reasonable hosts on RB. Most of them go all power crazy and never admit when they are wrong.

Oh, you DARLING!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image, Sandra!!!!! It’s GLORIOUS … and exactly right for our Dancing Days!!!! What a beautiful still life!!!!!! I can’t believe you all have been parting all this time without me!!!! The internet connection up at the cabin was worse than usual this weekend … we had a couple of storm fronts blow through, thunder as early as about 11:00 am … so I guess that had something to do with it!! Took the looooooong way home today to get some snaps … but here I am now!!!! WHEEEEE!!!!! I’m honored beyond BELIEF by your fabulous dedication … and thrilled to see these magic shoes that have been all around the world … how many times??? ... are still looking sooo snazzy!!!!!! Von’s socks are just the cat’s meow (heh get it?? maybe I should say the KITTEN’s meow!!!!) and I love them to pieces!!!!! OUTSTANDING WORK! Absolutely awesome photography and composition. You do such amazing work! (the only tiny thing I would say needs to be done to this image, and I hope you don’t mind some tiny criticism, it would be to clone out that small white spot on the upper right side.) Otherwise this is one fantastic image. I love it!!!!

OMG! How absolutely perfect this is, Sandra. Perfect composition and I just love what you had to say about it’s origin. We have been using this phrase for so long, I had forgotten just where is started and you are so right, it was our dear Lois who coined that phrase. Your image brings to mind the Tango, which I totally love and speaks of one of the best dramas of a lifetime. Your composition is so rich and exciting, I wanted to favorite it three times, at least!!!
