Wild flower found in the back alley, British Columbia, CA. Looks like a huge dandelion on steroids, approx 4 inches across. It has been suggested to me that it is called Goat’s Beard.

Beautiful capture – I have become addicted to dandelions lately! I have discovered these really big ones in the past but missed them this year due to all the rain. You are so lucky to have an IS macro lens. I couldn’t afford one and hate tripods!

  • Thanks. That is interesting that you hate tripods. I would feel lost without mine – maybe that’s because I do a lot of my shooting in my art studio. I hope you can get a Macro Lens one day.
