A very foggy, and misty, lonely back alley of Whitby shrouded in the “Sea Fret”.
Irene and I went to Whitby Harbour at 4 o’clock in the morning to get some night scenes. I wandered off for 5 minutes or so, to see what was round the corner whilst Irene was in the harbour….
I felt very isolated, lonely and spooked out when I saw this back street. I wanted to capture the essence of this isolation and loneliness. I expected to see Count Dracula walk out from the Fret and down the street to greet me!!
