This has had quite a lot of treatment and is open for honest critique. Please be honest, as the editing I’ve done is the first time I have done so, and I’ll never learn if you are not honest!

Final up-date: I have listened and applied all the advice that you kind friends have suggested.

Top of tree now looks complete and whole by cloning.
Top left hand side of image has been dodged & burned.
All left hand wall burned.
Finally, slight straightening has been done.

Thank you so much for you feedback and input, I have learnt so so much.

A big special thank you to Irene Burdell who has taught me how to do the textures, and given me so much advice, guidance and patience on the tweaking. Thanks Irene, you’re a star!

This looks really good to me Sandi. Nice moody sky and lovely framing using the walls. A good all rounder hunny. Well done. Nick xxx

  • Thanks Nick, you’re too kind, I said don’t pull your punches! To me the left top corner doesn’t look right and it looks like the walls are leaning in , and it doesn’t look pleasing on my eye……. x x

Beautiful surreal image Sandra. Cloning may have rounded the loss of the top of the tree that Nick mentioned, but overall, the editing is great. The sky is gorgeous!

  • Thank you ever so much Angie, gonna do something about the tree! xx

  • Think I’ve sorted that tree out Angie, what you reckon? All this is a big big learning curve for me,and is opening all sorts of editing doors! xx

Well my suggestion is see what others think. You KNOW what it looked like originally and sometimes that alone can throw you. See what others say and then go from there. I can only say what I can see hunny. xxx

  • I hear what you say Nick, thanks ever so much for that, gonna try and sort that tree out…..! S:)x

Lovely work on this Sandra. Yes cloning the tree would be great, but it is nice anyway. I must go back here on a better day as it was too bright when I went!!

  • Thank you Sandra, think I’ve sorted the tree out now! xx
