Fellow Redbubbler Irene Burdell and I went to the Rodley Nature Reserve, Rodley, Leeds, England, UK today (Weds 21st July 2010), which is a small wetlands area dedicated to mainly wild birds, ducks, Swans, and Geese. I have been to this reserve on many occasions, and a few years ago helped out, wardening the area. I can quite honestly say that up until today, I had never SEEN a real life Kingfisher, never mind capture one!
Here is my 1st shot, of my 1st sighting of this lovely British bird which we were told was a juvenile.
Tamron 70-300mm macro lens.
