The only one of its kind in Europe, YSP is an extraordinary place that sets out to challenge, inspire, inform and delight. Set in stunning historic parkland, just one mile from the M1, junction 38, YSP is an international centre for modern and contemporary art, experienced and enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year.
There are more than sixty sculptures in the open air (approximately 500 acres of beautiful landscape) by some of the world’s most interesting artists, including Henry Moore, James Turrell and Andy Goldsworthy and includes over 300 (some of which are permanent) works by David Nash which most of his works are sculptured in wood.
