Perth Cityscape Panoramic
Taken from across the Swan River, high up in Kings’ Park.
The scudding clouds caused light metering to keep changing almost every nano-second. Because of this, the color hue didn’t match in all three pictures that I had deliberately taken to make a panoramic scene
So, I desaturated all three images, and tweaked the contrast/brightness until they all matched, and this was the result.
Tripod mounted Lumix DMC-FZ30 Full 12x Zoom

Great DOF and I like the b/w, such a wonderful cityscape capture!
Sandra Chung replied
Thank you, Eyeleen. I was surprised at the definition from so far away.

Thought I recognised this shot from the thumbnail. Well taken and stiched. It does get frustrating when the lighting changes so fast and in rain fill clouds it happens so fast. John
Sandra Chung replied
Thank you, John. I was very frustrated as I wanted it as a color photograph, but was pleased to see it worked as a B&W.
Matt Halls
Still a very nice result Sandra….well worked!
Sandra Chung replied
Thanks, Matt. It makes a striking B&W image, luckily for me.
