Both Sides Now

I originally shot this same image several years ago with my point and shoot. I called the original Still and Deep.
Last week I returned but with my Leica and caught the sun rising as I was leaving California.
Leica V-Lux 1. Pope Valley, CA

This is a great reflection. I like how the image pulls in your eye in different directions, focusing not only on the water, but also what surrounds it.

  • Susan Kimball replied

Thanks so much PhotoVirgin and I realized that my description wasn’t too great-this shot is a recent one that I originally took with my point and shoot Still and Deep. There is a big difference even though at the time I liked the original. Sorry for the confusion and hope you like both, lol! : )

*hahahah love them mountain goats and how they can hang upside down.

  • Susan Kimball replied

Lol, the old man goat was blocking my way at first and I was afraid he was going to ram my rental car…so I sang to him cause I didn’t know what else to do wanting the shot and he slowly herded his crew up the mountain. Maybe I was out of key, lol!
