Thank you, Joseph! Yes, this was taken friday morning as well but I didn’t get one really good shot of Olaf. Black horses are so difficult to photograph and he was flying:) So, I decided to do a layered piece with the one half-decent photo I did get of him. I’m not familiar with that band but those lyrics were just perfect.

Animals tearing loose in exultation adds so much to my own life to see it. Unbridled joy, in every way. Gorgeous lighting, again. You’re so good at the back lit shots. Prettily done composition, a kind of early American parchment look.

Thanks Wendy….yes, he is. They call him Hippy at the barn because of that long mane and forelock. Gorgeous horse and such a sweetie.

Thank you Barbara for your lovely comments and for taking the time to look at my stuff. I know how busy you are. I don’t know that I’m good at the backlit stuff. I just take the chance and pray that I get some decent shots. It’s a crap shoot and there were far more unusable ones out of the hundreds I shot…oh, that’s another rule, shoot lots and some are bound to be good:) This was my first attempt at adding texture. I’ve been admiring everyone else’s layered pieces for so long and finally got up the nerve to try. I’m with you, I do love them running…such unbridled joy-no pun intended:) How’s the mural coming along? Please, post photos when it’s done.
