)......I wasn’t sure about leaving in the manure pile but I’m hoping someone unfamiliar with horse farms might think it is just an extra large ant hill:)Leah Highland
I can’t get enough of these foggy photos. Love it!
Sande Elkins replied
You’re so kind, Leah! Thank you…..I love shooting in the fog:-)
chris Whitney
Very nice interaction, beautiful and light and form also.
Sande Elkins replied
Thank you so much, Chris! These two stick to each other like glue. The other horses in the herd pick on the younger one and the older guy protects him.

Lovely movement. Beautiful light! Horses and fog go so well together.

beautiful shot..fog and warm light give it a great atmosphere
Sande Elkins replied
Thanks so much, Gary. I’ve had this one lying about for a few months. The owners liked it and so did I but I just wasn’t sure about the pov…still, it does seem to me that they are being playful.
Gary L. Suddath
They seem playful to me too. Having 3 babies (dogs) it seems animals that are close will “I double dog dare you” too.
Al Bourassa
I love the manes blowing in the wind.
Sande Elkins replied
Thanks, Al! It’s weird but it really reminds me of a desert scene for some reason. There’s just something about it but I can’t put my finger on why:-)
Al Bourassa
Go watch “Hidalgo” for the dust storm scene….
