I made my living doing whimsical wood sculpture for over twenty years. Then, I hit a mid-life crisis which ended up taking me in new directions artistically. I continue to do the sculpture but I’ve branched out in the last year into photography and encaustic painting. I’m a woman obsessed about creating. I’m also obsessed about the gift my husband gave me for my fiftieth birthday, a beautiful, dapple gray horse that I call, Mouse. She has become the inspiration and subject of much of my art.
