Montreal Botanical Gardens Canada

This lovely Christmas ornament is made of beautiful pinecones and living plants hanging from a festive ribbon and framed in a bright red frame. It was difficult to choose the photo as I have several different ones in a variety of shapes…all of them exquisite.

What beautiful photographs I’ve seen in the past few days! I feel incredibly humble showing my own photos. I’m a beginner and opened to any comments or suggestions as I feel I have much to learn. I’ve always enjoyed taking photos but for the past 9 years, my camera has been mainly focused on my 5 lovely grandchildren. I’m so inspired by what I’ve seen on this site… I can only hope your amazing collective talent rubs off on me!

  • Thank you so much Dave. Was just thinking about you this week as we saw The Hobbit..not meaning that you remind me of a hobbit…LOL!

What an unusual and lovely ornament and shot.
I could see it hanging on Bilbo’s door :)

  • Ha! Yes… Bilbo Baggins would love this I’m sure… could have made one himself. Thanks Maree… these were so beautiful. I should post a round one but I’ll see if it’s too similar. Thanks again!

wow, what is this? Never seen anything like it, it looks lovely!

  • Isn’t it amazing. It supposed to be a natural Christmas ball suspended in a frame. There were all shapes… the round ones were very pretty too. And within this ball was all living plants. Just amazing to see.
