A difficult description to write. Digger is a rescued Great Pyrenees who has been fostering with me since May. A beautiful dog outside who is in a bad situation now, with a decision needing to be made shortly about her future. I do behavior consults for dogs and specialize in aggressive behavior, and have a very high success rate. Digger has been a very sobering and devastating reminder to me that I am not God and can’t fix everything.
Please send me good energy as I try to come up with the strength to do what I have to, and to be at peace with knowing what that will be.
This photo is ironically, inspired by her love of life, and the joy she felt at running and playing in the snow the day I did this shoot with her.
Digger came from a breeder in Southern Ontario, and this photo was taken in Keswick, Ontario, after a big snowfall. If you choose to breed a dog – you are now a breeder. Breeders – please, before bringing more puppies into this world for your own reasons – please, at least do all that you need to, to ensure that they have sound bodies and minds to live in.
