The Arches at St Pauls by Sam Sneddon

Currently unavailable for purchase

There are so many unknown features along the Mornington Peninsula that neither people seem to talk about, nor the local tourism board. St Pauls beach has a fabulous array of rock formations including this pair of arches which reach out over the beach and rocks. I had wanted the tide to be in further when I came down here but I needed to make the most of it and the lighting was just perfect, so I took this shot.

Passionate photographer who loves to shoot seascapes and discover unknown and unseen treasures along Victoria’s coastline. Innovate not Imitate is the philosophy I try to shoot by. Panoramic photography is my forte, but sometimes I have to force myself in to shooting other formats to best compliment the scene.

What a beautiful panorama. I love the contrast between the red rock and the sea and sky.

Love the way you have used the strata to take eyes into the left of the picture, and the blue sky to the right provides balance. Colours are amazing.
