I’ve noticed that it has been about a year since my last journal. So, I thought that I would provide you with a breif overview of what has been happening the past 12 months.

I went to college. Did well at college. Got into uni.
Have been on holidays since finishing college early October.
Started a dream job at a local theatre. Realised that I don’t get many shifts. Tried to get another job. Failed.
Enrolled in a Bachelor of Primary Education. Want holidays to finish.
Had Christmas. Started planning 21st.
Laybuyed a new camera. A much smaller camera. The Olympus FE20. Won’t be as good as my FujiFilm.
I’m 21 in May and am quite excited.

Now that that’s out of the way, I thought that I should point out that I’m attempting to self teach myself things from The GIMP. A small collection of attempts can be found on facebook http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=204790&l=5a925&id=831045074 .

Also, one of my favorite bands, Tripod (http://www.3pod.com.au), have been holding a competition for the past three years called idioclips (htpp://www.idioclips.com). Last year I entered with a few friends of mine. Our clip didn’t even get to the finals :( This year, my friends decided to not help me out, so I’m entering on my own. Lacking proper video equiptment, I had to improvise. I used the simulator game, The Sims to make a couple of clips; Hot Girl In The Comic Shop and Rock Estedford.

I’m going to have to re-do Rockc Estedford, as it’s kinda crap. But at least I have something to work from.
