The Cape Bruny Lighthouse on Bruny Island in SouthernTasmania is great as it is, but I decided to have a play and imagine what would happen if a painter arrived and wanted to brighten it up a bit.
The colours are from the sea and the ribbons take their inspiration from sea grasses.
A postscript to this image – the eagle-eyed may have noticed that I originally had this lighthouse pegged as the Table Cape light near Wynyard. I obviously don’t have any lighthouse spotters amongst my followers because nobody pointed out that I had the wrong one. Title changed, problem solved.
