Yeah, the Headquarters! In the dream there was a tap inside that delivered a constant supply of lemonade and a good stash of Cheezels. Plus as you can see from the antenna it was equipped for good tv reception.

Of all my illustrations, this one seems to evoke the most reactions and I’m really happy about that because it’s one of my sentimental favourites. Maybe there’s something about not being able to see inside that let’s everyone imagine how it’s fitted out in their own minds?

i love this illustration….i don’t know why , the house silouhetted against the moon perhaps is so inviting and then i think of ‘The Berenstein Bears’ and that little wobbly house in the tree the lived in…and it reminds of of that and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside :)
