Australian Fur Seal – Taking refuge underneath the
Breakwater pier in Warrnambool July 09 – We beleive this seal was sick suffering from ingesting fishermens hooks. It constantly was rolling its head around as if in pain. Lucky these days, hooks and fishing line can be bought where it can break down after some time. Somthing to think about and highly reccomend it if you can get it. There are now all sorts of biodegradeable lures, hooks and lines that break down in less than five years as opposed to 600 years with nylon filaments. Sometimes though, the damage has already been done.
