Working elephants in Ao nang Thailand. I wouldnt go home until I saw that they had thier wash at the end of the day..the smaller one is a female and she is 45 years old. The larger one is a male who is 20 Years of age.

Thankyou Robert~! They were beautiful. i got to ride the female on her own..the mahoot controlling her with his voice. Which in itself is remarkable but a more friendlier way of having an animal work for you. They were beautiful..I held up the tour group until I saw they had had thier bath and ‘their time’ as they do so much for thailands tourism industry so it was nice to see them being looked after and happy. :))
