Incredibly crystal clear capture of wildlife most of us never see and probably never miss if not for your gift of sharing this rare glimpse into Nature! Well done and wonderful group to sponsor.

These are one of my favourite birds. We are lucky enough to have one “hooting” out the front of our house. When I first discovered it I would go out and talk (hoot) to him and he would answer. I sure my neighbours must have thought I’d lost it!
I too only saw two until you mentioned the third. Fantastic capture.
salsbells69
Oh you are so lucky to have them in your backyard. They are fantastic and the little ones have such great expressions/character! Thanks for taking the time to appreciate them. :)

Amazing birds
Did you pat them?
They will not move.
The sort of bird you honestly dont see for the trees. Unless you know they are there.
salsbells69
Thanks Peter..no didnt want to interfer with them. They were dong such a wonderful job at being incognito (so they thought!) ..Try not to intrude too much or shock wildlife…its important.
Hagen

Frank McDonald
This is great example of Tawny Frogmouths. A publisher would love this. I have a couple or three that live in a tree outside my house in north Queensland. (Could be more and I haven’t spotted them, such clever little devils at disguise that they are.)
salsbells69 replied
Thankyou very much Frank~! They have a stagnant personality of thier own dont they! :))
