“I call myself a Photographic Artist because at the heart of every piece is photography. I am trained in the photographic field and classified as a Master Photographer, who has worked freelance for over 35-years. My mind and heart however, love to experiment with new mediums, styles and methods which often take me to places that are no longer linked to photography."

The artist has received over fifty awards for her art and photography, including being the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Art and Science of Photography. The artist has collectors in all fifty states in the U.S. and international collectors in the UK, Canada, Belgium, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Germany, Italy, Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, Ireland, France and more.

Personal Interests: Volunteering for the local Animal Rescue organizations, photography, art, books, movies, my garden and my family. Doreen also writes for a greeting card blog and mentors young photographers.

I currently shoot with a Canon 7D in RAW format. Imagery is done using Photoshop CS-5, Topaz Labs and Nik Software. Paintings are created in Corel Painter 11.
