I am attempting a translation of the photograph, “Lost in Music” by Alfredo Estrella. I was contemplating a very controlled abstract musician playing a violin. It appears that instead of control I am caught in the midst of a giant wave.
Stay tuned as more shall be revealed. I’m not sure at this point which direction I will go with this painting. So far the medium is acrylic and it is painted on arches 300 # cold press watercolor paper.

When viewing a group of musicians or listening to music the musicians blend into their instruments for me and they sing as one.
In all of my work I have a fondness for bold color, clear values and wild texture.
My imagination works overtime. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
