This watercolor is a work-in-progress attempting a translation of "Whidbey Island, the digital art work created by Elizabeth Bravo.

At this point I am looking at the painting so I can decide what it needs for a finish. I’m considering adding some ink work to create sharper outlines and greater contrast.

When viewing a group of musicians or listening to music the musicians blend into their instruments for me and they sing as one.
In all of my work I have a fondness for bold color, clear values and wild texture.
My imagination works overtime. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.

I love the subtle coloring, Sally. So beautiful. From the trees in the orchard, to the fine lines of the buildings, to the Orcas in the beautiful water, I’m 100% taken in. Congratulations! You’re our first finish!!

Remember to put that link in the sidebar to the translated artist, for all of your works for works for these exhibitions. :)

This is now one of my favorites of your works. And it’s completely different than Elizabeth’s.
