This ceramic globe is supposed to represent the world with it’s seasons. I photographed it in more than one position so that more than one view would be visible to the viewer. The ceramics were painted with underglaze colors and fired. The final firing was with clear glaze at cone .06

When viewing a group of musicians or listening to music the musicians blend into their instruments for me and they sing as one.
In all of my work I have a fondness for bold color, clear values and wild texture.
My imagination works overtime. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.

LOVE your puddy tat…that’s one laid back cool cat!!!! Oh, and also your “seasons” globe…but those look like awesome giant fishing floats on the deck…yes?! Not to detract from your fabulous work, Sal!

  • Yep, he’s laid back alright. This is the one that gets lost frequently. Yes, these are fishing floats. One of them we found in the Pacific off one of the beaches on the windy side of Santa Catalina Island. The rest of them were purchased. Sally.

LOVELY WORK AND YOUR PAL LOVESTHEM TOO !@lIKZ

  • Thanks, Liz. My pal is a big lazy guy. Lying on his back and sleeping almost anywhere is his best trick. Sally By the way, I meant to congratulate you on the pieces you had in the Sojie show. The Hibiscus was wonderful and I especially loved your awesome photo of the polar bear. Fabulous. Sally

omg.. I am reeling with laughter at your kittys feelings… surrounded by your magic!!!

  • This cat is Jack. He’s the dumb one. Last weekend he crawled into the house painter’s truck and went home with him without anyone knowing…we didn’t find him until Monday when the painter came back to work. Fortunately he didn’t perish because it was cold and rainy. He dropped a couple of pounds, though. We’re happy to have poor dumb Jack back. S.
