The Road To Hell is Paved with Good Intentions. by

This mixed media watercolor, ink, collage shows my trip down the road paved with good intentions. Tempting treats threaten to keep me from reaching my goal which is weight loss. Will I succeed or will I succumb to the traps along the road? I have a small laminated print of this collage on my refrigerator door to remind me to keep the door closed.

When viewing a group of musicians or listening to music the musicians blend into their instruments for me and they sing as one.
In all of my work I have a fondness for bold color, clear values and wild texture.
My imagination works overtime. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.

hardly know what to say, but as disturbing the images, the reality is right on…don’t allow sweets to overcome you…you are a success…(my demon, also)

  • I have a small laminated copy of this artwork sitting on the front of my refrigerator door. It stops me from taking the wrong step. It’s drastic, but the ploy works for me. Thanks for your comments, Sally

I can totally relate to this! Great painting. There is just so much going on here.

  • This is a practical piece for me. I keep a small laminated RB print of this image on my refrigerator door. It helps me to refrain! Thanks for commenting. Karin. I told some of my friends to check out your cats. I hope it helps! s.

Makes me smile! As a former sugar junkie, (don’t touch the
white stuff now) I concur! Great image!!!

  • Thanks for your comment, Marriet, I’m trying hard to follow in your “former Sugar Junkie” footsteps. I look at this painting every time I want a treat.s.
