will go with that comment! ………………no matter how I tried when a kid I just couldn’t get in the lines…hard too with wishy washy watercolour pan and those picture colouring books that came with them, paper used to disintegrate straight away no wonder I have a studio with paint /pencils /inks etc etc .everywhere.
I know what you mean!! I once saw a teacher at a elementary school tear up a young child’s coloring page (in front of her) because she didn’t color inside the lines!!! How horrifying is that! The poor little darling. I hope she’s a successful artist! Thanks for the comment!

Excellent work Sally..
How fun is this….. wonderful watercolour Sally. I think it’s funny when I invite someone to join one of my painting classes and they answer, " I can’t even draw a straight liine…." My favorite reply is, “Neither can I, that’s why I have a ruler.” Then I go on to let them also know that drawing a straight line is not required to take a painting class. LOL
It would be so fun to take lessons w you, Jim!Thank you!
This is a great painting, Sally !
So good to hear from you, Corinne! Thanks!
full of colour and a fun painting Sally!
So appreciate hearing from you!
I was a great colourerinner at school, my nursing charts were so neat BUT it`s SO great to break the rules. Such fun Sally and full of colours.
Hi Sally, what fun! I like the way the pencils swirl.
You’re back! I’ve heard you’ve been painting fabulously!! Will take a look! Thanks for stopping!
How bright and cheerful, love the title!!!! I could see this hanging in a young child’s bedroom or a classroom! Fun!!!!
Thanks, Angie !! Yes, that would be a fine classroom motto!!!
ooh bet it shattered her for life! ooh poor kid makes me want to cry….Brother- in- law was a teacher and he wouldn’t let anyone use the colouring in books, said it hindered creativity ..
Yes, I completely agree, Virginia!! A blank paper is best After I witnessed that I always told my kids there were no mistakes in their art work!!
So thankful for your support!!
