My name is Michael, and I am 28. I am completely self taught and enjoy learning as I go. I like my viewers to see what I see, how I see it, why I see it and then walk away with their own perception. I like messing with the focus, color and lighting so everything is unique! I hope it comes across that way!

    Very different.
My eyes keep wanting to put it into focus! Ha.
    It works though, great job!

  • LOL Thank you! I am ‘getting photography assistance’ from a friend of mine, and he confused the heck out of me. He works with a canon and I have a nikon so things are a lot different. He kept telling me to put my camera on manual, fix my settings and then put it to auto and let my camera do the work. I kept doing exactly as he told me and it wasn’t working. I pondered over this for about 3 weeks and then I accidentally got it while shooting in the cemetery. I used it to get this effect and I fell in love! LOL! I did not want to touch my camera for fear of losing the effect until I was done, HAHAH!

Well it’s really cool nonetheless. Won’t work for every shot, but works for this.

Pffft, silly little Nikon users… ;)

  • Thank you!! It definitely won’t. It is really cool the way it is thought because if you’re far away from something, its all in focus, but if you get closer, it gets out of focus. I used it for a couple photos that I’ve submitted from the cememtery but none of them are this out of focus. It looks like a dream, to me. LOL

LMAO! HEY!! LOL my friend’s first piece of advice was to sell my nikon and get a canon, HAHAH!!!
