Why “porridge”, Philip? I had no idea it was in the city centre! The tones and the light are wonderful. I do find myself sort of cocking my head to the side to ‘straighten it up’, but it’s not so noticeable in the large version. When you look at the large one you really feel as though you’re inside. Fantastic!

  • Porridge is an old english term about doing time in jail, appently in the old days that was all they were fed ,these days they get fed better than our old age pensioners

  • yes its in the city cbd , i think its in Russell street manged by the national trust. at one end oft the walkway is the gallows. Its open most days for tours nd some evenings for ghost tours

  • that crookednes i think it might br a mix of light shdow and those rails being longer on one side thanhe other
