A sea of fog blankets the valley like waves breaking on rocks far below, just another awesome morning in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area west of Sydney.

Technique: HDR 5 Bracketted exposures, tonemapped in Photomatix with adjustments in Photoshop Elements 9.0, Colour Effex Pro and Vivesa 2

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm lens

    Great capture. I’ve been there and seen that happen and it is gorgeous …. but I didn’t have my camera. I went back again with the camera but unfortunately it didn’t happen!!! Lucky you.
