Palm Beach is located at the very end of the Northern Beaches of Sydney, the beach links the peninsula , its a stunning area and about 10 minutes north of where i live, the area is about 41klms from the Sydney CBD.
Shhhh keep the area secret , we send all the tourists to BONDI lol
It is a jewel , great for all water sports, and has marvelous beaches.
Palm Beach has a length of 2.3 kilometres at the end is Barrenjoey Headland topped by it’s historic lighthouse,
For those die hard soapie fans yes the area is also known as Summer Bay in the soapie Home and Away
OK its a very long beach and and here is the details of the technique used to capture it
Technique : 95 exposures shot in brackets of 19 × 5 bracket exposures = 95 exposures shot in landscape format. The first bracket of 5 Exposures was tonemapped to create one segment 15mb tiff file using Photomatix 4.2. This procedure was then repeated another 18 times to creat a total of 19 × 15 mb tiff files. The 19 segments were then stitched or merged using Photoshop Elements 9.0 to create one 2.gb Panoramic tiff file. Slight adjustments were made using Elements to adjust distortion and cropping.
AND YES IT WAS A LONG EXERCISE AND CHALLENGE FOR THE PC AND ME LOL
