Yes I’m at it again my normal perch overlooking Sydney Harbour, the light amazing, the stillness of the harbour and the reflections a joy. This time of year the mauve Jackarandah trees dot the shoreline with bursts of colour.
In the foregroundyou can see the spire of St Francis Xavier Church, Lavender Bay which was founded in 1856 and was one of the first churches in Sydney. Also to the left in the foreground is a row of historic terraces.
In the middle of the image you can see the Art Deco Luna Park that dates back to the 1930’s, nestles against the Sydney Harbour Bridge , nicknamed the Coathanger, the image also shows the cittyscape of Sydney as it catches the first light of day.
This view changes everyday , and the location is quite often asked by other photographers , …. my answer if i told you i’d have to kill you lol
