One moment in time as the sun hits the coast and Narrabeen Lakes reflects the dawn.
One of my favourite spots its waters rarely disturbed by engines, more the stroke of a oar provides the perfect conditions of great light, clouds and a mill pond surface with perfect reflections.
Located around 30 kilometres from Sydney CBD
Technique: HDR 20 exposures shot in brackets of 5 exposures, tonemapped in Photomatix 4,1, to create 4 × 65mb tiff files. All 4 files then merged in Photoshop to form 1x 300mb Tiff file
Slight adjustment of contrast and sharpen in Photoshop
Equipment: Nikon D300 , Nikon 18-70mm lens
