Capertee Valley (45 Exposure HDR Panoramic) - Capertee Valley, NSW, Australia - The HDR Experience by

BEST VIEWED LARGER

With views to the magnificent Pantoney’s Crown and the surrounding Capertee Valley. This valley is the worlds second largest and features more birds per square kilometre than anywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere.
Castlereigh Highway, Capertee

One of my favourite places in the Blue Mountains area *The Capertee Valley" a wonderful diversion off the hwy. THe scenery is awesome from a photographers point of view photo opportinities in every direction

Surrounded by the wonders of World Heritage listed wilderness, the Capertee valley is the world’s second largest canyon. Capertee is 1 kilometre longer than the Grand Canyon, but not quite as deep.

Technique: HDR Panoramic, comprising of 45 exposures shot in brackets of 5 exposures. Each bracket tonemapped in Photomatix to form 9 tiff files, These 9 tiff files then merged in photoshop to form a 300 mb tiff file. This file cropped, contrast adjusted and a slight sharpen saved the converted to a jpeg
