BEST VIEWED LARGER

The Blue Mountains World Heritage Area is around 1.5 Hours from Sydney and can be reached by Train or road. It’s the lungs of Sydney a place where you can relax over a devonshire tea, stay over and sit in front of a roaring log fire and stand in awe of the scenery and vistas.

Here the overnight fog sits in the valley below the famous Three Sisters. That layer of fog is like a waves crashing against the rocks hence the title.

Technique : 15 bracketted exposures shot in vrackets of 5 exposures. Tonemapped in Photomatix 3.26 then merged using Photoshop Elements

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm Manfrotto Tripod and remote release cable.
