This morning made me think of Van Morrisons classic Days Like This. Its a tune that I quite often play when driving down a country road, cruising down a seaside road it sums up that feeling when you are relaxed and really enjoying the surroundings and beauty that surrounds you.
This morning was such a day when chasing the light up the northern beaches of Sydney.
When the light is great, the clouds are cooperative, and the surface of Narrabeen lakes is still its definitely a Day Like This
Never heard the tune click on the youtube video and look at the image .

Lovely capture of a part of the world in which I grew up, went to Manly Boys High after Dee Why infant’s School and spent many a weekend fishing and or swimming when it was unpolluted , think it is cleaned up now! Sail Boarding was another part of my wonderful experience on Narrabeen Lake.
Good one Philip

yes i have memories of famly picnics and picking blackberries and swimming out to the middle and of floods of the parkway.
And yes it’s a bit cleaner but gets a bit murky after a good rain
